Drakelings

Welcome to Silver Dragon Mountain

You run through freshly grown plains, a result of spring rains. Ahead is an enormous mountain with a swirling mass of pale grey clouds, still filled with a little rain. The sun shone brightly overhead, almost at the point of noon. With each step you come closer to the mountain. Minature specks fly up and around before descending once more to caves and crevices near the foot of the great mountain. Your pace slackens as your breath shortens, the wind stolen out of your lungs. You were told Drakelings lived here, tiny dragon like creatures that are only a foot tall. Your eyes glaze over for a second while a memory of your grandpa reciting an old story of his youth where a girl watched over them by the name of Pyro. You went up and down, up and down. You were in the foothills and a few pair of eyes watched out of the underbrush. Crooning softly and clucking your tongue you enticed a few drakelings out and you scratched their eyes ridges and behind their ears. You smiel and play wiht them for the rest of the day, able to tell this story of your youth to your grandchildren...
